The cat scene in Ipoh isn’t as rich as it was in Bandung. There are not as many cats roaming the streets, and those that are seem to be much more skittish, so getting pictures of them is harder. My theory on why is that the street cats here are probably truly street cats, not pets that are wandering the neighborhoods. Due to the heat and the higher income levels in Ipoh, I think the family pets are probably inside cats.

Still, there definitely were a few that were worthy of photographs and some that were downright friendly.
